Marina Matić Bošković is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Criminological and Sociological Research, in Belgrade, Serbia. She holds a doctoral degree in Criminal Law. Marina Matić Bošković has experience as a consultant for the projects funded by the European Union, as well as a consultant for the World Bank, Council of Europe, OSCE. In the area of policy development and legal drafting, she was involved in drafting the National Judicial Reform Strategy 2013-2018, the Strategy of Investigation of Financial Crimes for period 2015-2016, in 2023 for drafting new Anti-corruption Strategy, the Law on High Judicial Council and the Law on High Prosecutorial Council as well as set of relevant bylaws. She was also engaged as a lecturer on Judicial Academy and ReSPA. She is engaged by the World Bank as judicial reform consultant for Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries on justice sector and criminal justice reform, and she prepared 2014 and 2021 Serbia Judicial Functional Review, 2018 Delivery of Justice in Montenegro, 2022 Supporting Judicial Reforms in Armenia Forward Look, and Western Balkan Regional Justice Survey.
From 2010 she is a Vice-president and since 2018 President of Program Council of Prosecutors Association of Serbia. Since 2015 Marina Matić Bošković is member of the International Association of Prosecutors IAP Committee of Forum for Associations of Prosecutors.
She has published a number of papers and a few monographs in English and Serbian. Jointly with Jelena Kostić in 2024 she wrote “Track Record in fight Against Corruption in Serbia – How to Increase Effectiveness of Prosecution”, Journal of the University of Latvia. Law, No. 17/2024, in 2023 she wrote „Criminal law as an effective tool to protect environment?“ In: Collection of papers from the International Scientific Conference „Bratislava Legal Forum “Comenius University, Faculty of Law, 74-91, 2, in 2022 she wrote “Financial Accountability and Transparency of Public Sector Institutions in the Republic of Serbia”, in Mikuli, P., Kuca, G. (eds) Accountability and the Law, Routledge. In 2022 she published book “EU Criminal Procedure Law”.
