An in-person meeting of several members of the European Commission’s Jean Monnet Module “Rule of law, democracy and human rights as elements of cohesion and survival of the European Union: areas of action and improvement” (Project 101233195-RDH) was held at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, within the framework of the international congress “The fight against the feminization of poverty and the promotion of sustainable development at the international level: Progress and challenges 30 years after the Beijing Conference (1995)”. The meeting addressed issues related to the organization and planning of the Module's activities to be held over the next three years. Participants in the meeting included Harold Bertot Triana, the Module’s General Coordinator, and members Elena Carolina Díaz Galán, Barbara Janusz-Pohl, Veronika Stoilova, Deyan Dimitrov, and Jelica Gordanić.
