Professor of Public International Law and International Relations. Academic Director for the International Promotion of Hispanic Programs and Global Responsibility at King Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain. Her main research lines are: Human Rights, the 2030 Agenda, sustainable development, International Organizations, and international security and peace. She has taught in both Spanish and English across various subjects in different undergraduate and master's degrees. She is a member of several research projects and chairs related to the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development, including having been a member of the United Nations Chair on the Sustainable Development Goals, established by agreement between King Juan Carlos University and the United Nations (United Nations Development Fund); the Chair on Sustainability, Social Inclusion, Diversity, and Human Rights of the Ministry of Social Rights and 2030 Agenda; and she is also a member of the project: "Normative Gaps and Progressive Development of the 2030 Agenda and the Principle of Sustainability," of special relevance for Spain, State Research Agency, Reference: PID2020-138339OB-I00, 2023-2027. Furthermore, she is the Principal Investigator (PI) of various projects, among others: PI of the Jean Monnet Module Action Project (2023-2026) "CLAEU - European union policy in latin america and the caribbean: values, principles and areas of action," European Commission, External Reference: 101127378, Internal Reference: V1371, Duration: 09/10/2023 - 08/10/2026. She has conducted research stays at prestigious foreign universities and centers, including the University of Nevada, Reno, USA; the University of Havana, Cuba; the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, University of Lisbon (Portugal); and the Université Paris-Ouest-Nanterre-La Défense (Paris X).
