Barbara Janusz-Pohl

Since 2004, she has been affiliated with the Department of Criminal Procedure at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. She is the author of approximately 120 scientific publications, including monographs, articles, and book chapters, a reviewer for international law journals, and the editor of the journal Ius, Lex et Res Publica. Her studies in Law, Philosophy, and Political Science have been published by Peter Lang. She has directed and executed numerous research projects involving foreign researchers, including serving as head of the Research Axis on Evidence – Mutual Exchange in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the Foundation School of the Public Ministry of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil); head and principal investigator of the study "Presumptions in Criminal Law"; scientific supervisor of the Interreg VA Mecklenburg-Vorpommern/Brandenburg/Poland project "The Correlation of Identification and Combating Cross-Border Links Between Criminals and Terrorists in the Field of Genetic and IT Examinations"; researcher in the team of the East-West International Research Group MCO within the structure of the Dikastai Transdisciplinary Research Center on Judges and Courts at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań – Institute of Philosophy; head and principal investigator of the project "Juvenile Justice Systems - a Comparative Perspective"; co-supervisor of the project "Consensual Proposals. International Approaches"; director and executor of the project "Eurocrimes - Complementarity of Polish Substantive and Procedural Criminal Law with the European Strategy for Gender Equality 2020-2025 and GAP III"; researcher on the project "Sexual Harassment in a Comparative Approach"; researcher in the Polish-Hungarian Research Platform / Team Member for the Rule of Law; director of the project "Effective Justice - International and Comparative Approaches"; researcher in the project led by Professor Visconti on "Written Statements of Defense Lawyers"; and director of the project "Constitutive Rules in Criminal Law."
